Microsurgery describes the technique of suturing together very small structures, like nerve and vessels, with the use of microscope or high power surgical loops.
This is used in reattaching amputated limbs, or in reconstructing different areas of the body like the head and neck area, breast, hands or lower extremities damaged by trauma or affected by cancer.
